Whether its game movement, trap release, speech communications, or excessive noise exposure, hearing is a critical advantage to your overall performance, accuracy, safety and enjoyment. E.A.R., Inc., recognized this requirement and presented an electronic hearing protection system known as the SoundScope/Magnum Ears Series to hunters, shooters, law enforcement and military officers, pilots, farmers, industrial workers and dentists. Since this introduction, we continually improved upon the basic analog designs to provide new innovations and concepts to our consumer base. One such innovation was the  "Private Ears™" model upgrade which permitted the user to hear two-way radio communications directly through their earpiece without any wires going to the ear.

Currently, we offer two hi-fidelity analog units that are manufactured with the clarity of compression circuitry technology. This simply means that the unit will accept an impulse sound and compress it to a safer level, much like a high quality electronic earmuff. The only sound difference between most electronic earmuffs and our hi-fidelity electronic earplugs are the compression rates, or attack and release times. Within an electronic earplug these rates are incredibly quick and the enhanced sound will not fade in and out on you. It will simply remain at a contained level giving you the ability to sustain your awareness at all times. This important safety feature allows you to hear with exceptional ease even when high noise levels are present.
