This decision benefits the consumer by virtually eliminating the possible hassle of remaking custom units due to weight changes or other anatomical changes in the ear over the years. It also allows our clients to share these units with another person by simply replacing the wax-guard tips. This reason alone helps law enforcement, instructors, military personal and shooting enthusiasts assign these units to other people without issues of fitting and adequate hearing protection worn in the field.

Regardless of either design, the unit permits each client to position a high quality electronic hearing protection device into the ear where it is not conspicuous, nor in the way of glasses, outer headwear, or long hair. This design is the preferred choice over behind the ear models which can be more difficult to use in active sports or professional activities.

If a custom-fit is preferred, we have the ability to manufacture a filtered earplug which can be used "as is" on the range and in the field, or be adapted to house the Mini-Canal to provide electronic enhancement of your surrounding sounds. This "Combo-Mold" can be bought at time of purchase, or added at a later date.
